29/10/2015
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
National Press Club of Australia
$45.00 - $65.00

Misinformation is the new global weapon of choice from boardrooms to battlefields as corporates, soldiers and consumers are taken hostage by the highest pay-per-click bidder.

The clickbait economy has presented significant challenges for communicators in how crises are managed and wars are fought on and offline. Spinning you clockwise towards the next election, counter-clockwise into a black hole of bureaucracy or orbiting you in a strategic misinformation from afar – do you know what the communications currency of the day is in your organsiation? And could you defend it against social or cyber hack?

Author of the book ‘Social Media Rules of Engagement’ and advisor/trainer to NATO Nicole Matejic will talk about how the information revolution is impacting Governments, Militaries and citizens around the world in this engaging lunchtime seminar.

You may never look at your Facebook and Google accounts the same way again …
